What is OWBC?
One World Business Competition is where participants generate business ideas that aim to accomplish the UN's sustainable development goals. It aims to foster future entrepreneurs and encourage pursue of business among the young generation.

What is our theme?
The main theme of our competition is “Sustainable Development Goals” (SDG). We have two SDGs for the business ideation challenge which are explained in greater detail in our Competition Resource slides. It is your job to create a realistic but innovative business under the theme of the assigned SDGs!

Topic 1
Topic 1
SDG 6 focuses on ensuring access to clean water and sanitation for all by 2030 through sustainable water management, improved sanitation systems, and global cooperation. It highlights the urgency of addressing water scarcity, pollution, and inadequate infrastructure while also encouraging individual actions like conserving water and reducing contamination.
Topic 2
Topic 2
SDG 14 emphasizes the need for urgent need of reduction of marine pollution and mitigating its effects. Businesses participating in global competitions must demonstrate strategies that align with reducing their ocean acidification, implementing sustainable practices, and contributing to marine resilience.
