How can the local community and industries get involved with CTE at KIPP Texas?

• Guest speaking

• Participate in a career day event

• Judge at a Career and Technical Student Organization competition (TSA, FBLA, DECA, etc.)

• Provide job shadowing opportunities or student field trips

• Offer work-based learning opportunities in the form of internships or apprenticeships - see below!

• Mentor and advise students

• Host teacher externships

• Serve on the KIPP Texas CTE Advisory Committee
