More Resources

As our District and community continues to cope with COVID-19, we recognize that many students and families are experiencing anxiety and a range of other emotions. Self-care and emotional self-regulation is especially important during these uncertain times, and social emotional learning (SEL) strategies can be extremely helpful.

Included below are several videos explaining the importance and impact of SEL, as well as some helpful tips and strategies families can use at home, such as activities, simple breathing exercises and meditative practices. A variety of SEL resources are also available on the CASEL website. CASEL is the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning. The site includes resources related to COVID-19, such as coping with stress and anxiety, talking with children at home, planning activities and more.
