Technology support for our students and families are critical to ensuring student success in the the Virtual Learning Program. Below you will find helpful information and tips to support remote learning.
Computers should only be used for student learning purposes.
Do not have food or drinks open near computers.
Use on a flat surface.
Type and tap gently (keys and screens can easily be damaged).
Plug and unplug headphones gently.
Power down computers at least once per day. To power off, click the clock in the lower-right corner of the screen. Click the power symbol.
Try to limit your WIFI connections. Ideally, each computer should only be connected to one home WIFI network.
If you are having trouble with Wifi, make sure the Chromebook is connected to the internet. To see which internet source is connected, click the options in the bottom-right of the screen, then check the wifi or hotspot connection. Sit as close to the router or hotspot as possible to maintain strong connection.
