6th Class were investigating growth of bacteria, washed and unwashed vs sanitised hands and also the toilet door. We noticed it took a long time for mould to appear - the bread has a lot of preservatives we think.

6th Class were investigating how food is broken down in our stomach. We placed apple chunks in lemon juice and observed how it broke down compared to fruit not in lemon juice. The lemon juice is an acid and mimicked what the acid in our stomach is like.
