Luis Angelo R. Villarroel, MA, RPm, RPsy

Founder & Senior Psychologist

Luis obtained his MA in Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School of University of Santo Tomas in 2019, and became a Registered Psychologist in the same year. He is a core member of the Dementia Society of the Philippines, and aids in the planning, organizing, and execution of events and activities, as well as lending his expertise and knowledge in the form of lectures on neuropsychological assessments related to neurocognitive disorders. Luis has been volunteering at the UST - Graduate School Psychotrauma Clinic since 2017, and has since been appointed as the Mentoring Coordinator of its Admissions and Training Committee. Luis is also a Registered Psychometrician, being a part of the pioneering batch of Psychometricians in 2014, the same year that he graduated from his BS in Psychology at the College of Science of the University of Santo Tomas.

Luis believes in using an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing techniques from different modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to be able to meet the various needs of the clients.


Floyd D. Batongbakal, MA, RPh, RPsy

Senior Psychologist

Floyd is a certified specialist in Counseling and in Clinical Psychology. He obtained his MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila and has been a Registered Psychologist since 2018, ranking as part of the top 5 of his batch. Prior to this, Floyd has also been volunteering as a counselor under supervision for indigent patients with cases of psychological trauma. For 11 years, he has also taught children in primary and secondary school. While teaching, Floyd worked closely with his students' parents, teachers, and mentors to address the students' different developmental concerns. In 2016, he started working in the university setting as a Counselor for college and senior high school students. He has also established and developed programs addressing students' mental health and a program for students with additional needs. Besides the fields of Psychology and Education, Floyd also has training a background in the field of Pharmacy and Therapeutics. He graduated with a BS in Pharmacy degree from the University of Santo Tomas and received a specialist certificate in Pharmacotherapy from the same university.


The areas that Floyd specializes in are psychological trauma, mood disorder, stress from occupational settings, and issues regarding life-role transitions. Combining his natural inclination to teach and his training in the art and science of learning, Floyd can also train and coach individuals and teams in areas dealing with daily life stresses and with work performance. On a more technical note, he also conducts training on the field of psychometrics and performs data analysis for researchers. Floyd is currently working towards acquisition of skills in the field of biological psychology and more advanced analytics skills applied to psychology.
