RMS cheerleading tryout dates are Wed May 22, Thursday May 23 and Friday May 24. Packets will be available soon.

The Penny War results are in....as a building we raised $3354.28! Congratulations! We raised so much money that we will be donating to three different organizations including Noah's Ark animal rescue on behalf of Roscoe Middle School. The winning homerooms are: 6th grade Mr. Knipp, 7th grade Mr. G, and 8th grade Mrs. Salem. Mrs. Freedlund will be reaching out to get a date set for donuts for each homeroom! The overall school winner is....Mr. G with 14, 378 points. You will also be receiving ice cream! Way to go!!! Thank you to Mrs. Freedlund the NJHS officers and all the NJHS members for putting together this fun and successful event.

Today's mental wellness challenge is: Spend time outside, take a walk and breathe in the fresh air.
If you love tennis or you'd like to learn tennis there are several summer tennis camp opportunities available for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Some are sponsored by Hononegah and others by the USTA. These camps are a great way to get connected with the Honongah coaching staff. Anyone interested can pick up a flyer in the office.

Today's mental wellness challenge is: Download an app that might help you manage your time, relax, or calm down.
This year's iREady raffle. You will receive one raffle ticket if you reach your typical growth on your math and reading diagnostic assessment and you will receive 2 raffle tickets if you reach stretch growth. We are giving away gift cards to Culvers, Starbucks, and Subway. We have a 5 pound World's Finest Chocolate Bar, 2 100$ Amazon gift cards, and a family pack of passes to Great America (4 diamond level passes that give you access to all 6 Six Flags Parks and water parks, 15% off food and preferred parking).
A reminder of breakfast expectations. Students should grab breakfast when they enter the building on their way to homeroom on B days and 1st hour on A days. The breakfasts are packaged specifically to be a quick bite to eat in the morning. Meaning breakfast should be finished quickly and cleaned up quickly as not to interfere with the learning environment. We recently introduced juice bottles as an ala cart item. Juice bottles are part of breakfast and should be thrown away during first hour class. Students should not be carrying juice bottles in their backpacks or from class to class.

A reminder that broken Chromebook screens are 100$ to repair. We are seeing an uptick in broken screens because kids are messing around in the halls and at lunch.
