Meet the Teacher

About Mrs. Hintz

I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2015 with my bachelor's degree in elementary education, Social Studies, and special education (cognitive impairments). I spent the time between graduation and being hired to teach in Kingston, I worked as a substitute teacher (both short and long term), camp counselor/outdoor educator/ranch director, and summer playground program supervisor.  I currently spend summers working as a day camp director at a local summer camp.

My husband and I married in June of 2018 and have been enjoying married life. We have two dogs and a horse between us. Peanut is our Boston Terrier. Callie is our palomino Quarter Horse. Reba is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. In my free time, I enjoy watching the Red Wings play hockey, being outdoors, taking photographs, listening to music, and reading. My favorite genres to read are historical fiction, realistic fiction, and expository/informational. I also enjoy taking Callie out on trail rides and taking Reba to classes to work on our musical freestyle skills.
