At Kingsdown School, we use a variety of platforms to connect with parents and carers. This session is designed to support you in using these platforms and ensure you can easily access information and updates about your child's learning.
MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) App is our primary portal and app (available for iOS, Android, or web browser) designed to keep you informed and up to date on your child's day-to-day school life. Through the MCAS app, parents and carers can:

• Monitor Progress: Access real-time updates on Attendance, Behaviour, Assessment, student timetables, and reports.

• Stay Updated: Receive push notifications, school announcements, letters, calendar events, and exam schedules.

• Make Payments: Conveniently add funds for the school canteen, purchase school products, and pay for Chromebook repairs.

If you missing your link or need to access this platform, please call the School or send an email to: itsupport@kingsdownschool.co.uk Other platforms - such as Tassomai, Seneca, or Sparx Maths APP - will send email invitations allowing parents and carers to join and receive updates on their child's homework and progress in those subjects.

Google Classroom APP: Google Classroom is intended for students and teachers only. Parents cannot access Google Classroom APP. If you are linked as a Parents & Carers, you will only receive daily or weekly email summaries. Any questions please, reach out directly to the subject teacher for help.

Securly (Web Filtering): For questions or technical support related to Securly, please contact IT Support Team using

Google classroom, Seneca, Sparks Maths or Tassomai for example - are independent platforms - which means it's best to view all platforms to keep updated. If you are still not receiving information about homework set for science or other subjects, you or the student can contact the subject teachers.
