Whatever form your revision takes, it is important that you ensure that it is active. This means taking some content that you want to revise, and doing something with it. This could be making and using flashcards, creating mind maps or turning text into diagrams or drawings. Importantly at this stage in your revision, past paper questions should be making up a significant part of your revision. You can use your MERiT reports from your most recent PPE's to target your revision.

Useful Documents:

50 key facts sheets for each paper - use these to make flashcards, use the 'Look, Cover, Write, Check' approach to practice or get someone at home to test you on them

Biology 50 Key Facts - Paper 1
Biology 50 Key Facts - Paper 2
50 Key Facts - Chemistry Paper 1
50 Key Facts - Chemistry Paper 2
Physics 50 Key Facts - Paper 1

Other online resources:

With all of these ensure you are selecting the AQA course and then either Trilogy (combined sciences) or by science e.g. Biology (for Triple students)

Cognito

www.cognitoresources.org

This is a fantastic resource for revision. Under the "videos" tab you will find short videos made specifically for different parts of the Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses.

You can also find past paper questions here. Either by clicking on the "past papers" tab, or if you want to find a question on a particular topic area the "exam Q's by topic" tab. This is particularly useful for focussed revision. If you struggle with part of it, use the videos to help!

Century:

https://www.century.tech/

As a minimum in Science we expect 20 minutes per science of independent work on Century each fortnight via the Century Pathway. Century works best when you allow the AI platform to suggest nuggets into your pathway to work on. However if you want to focus on a particular topic area, you can use the "my courses" tab to do so. Remember that the questions are not a test. You should be referring back to the slides / video in order to ensure that you answer the questions correctly.
