From August 10–22, 2025, join us for an immersive educational journey focused on innovation in urban mobility, hosted across vibrant cities in the Baltics (Tartu and Riga). Aligned with the mission of the EIT Urban Mobility Academy, Summer School Baltica is dedicated to transforming our urban spaces into more sustainable and liveable environments.

What does the programme provide?
Challenge-Based Learning
Participants will engage in a dynamic, two-week Summer School built around real-world challenges designed in collaboration with industry stakeholders. These challenges reflect current trends, technological advancements, and sustainability goals in urban mobility. With clearly defined learning outcomes and tailored teaching methods, this approach fosters innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and practical problem-solving skills in a highly relevant, industry-aligned context.
Practical Training Integration
The programme goes beyond traditional classroom learning by embedding practical training into its core. Through workshops, real-world projects, and interactive sessions, students gain firsthand experience applying academic concepts to real-life urban mobility and smart city challenges. This approach ensures programme graduates are not only knowledgeable but also capable of taking immediate action in professional settings.
Real-World Experience
It is a two-week immersive experience where participants collaborate in teams to tackle real-life problems. With continuous feedback from trainers and industry experts, they refine their ideas into actionable business concepts, which are then pitched to a panel of judges. Guest lectures and mentorship from local industry leaders in Latvia and Estonia further enrich the experience, offering valuable insights and real-world perspectives that bridge the gap between learning and practice.

What is the price of participating in the programme?
Here's everything you need to know about the pricing:
Early Bird Pricing (Until 23rd of June): Cost: 700 euros + VAT*
Regular Pricing (After 23rd of June): Cost: 1000 euros + VAT*
What's included in the price: training programme, breakfast and lunch, social programme, travel ticket from Tartu to Riga.
*Please note that the price does not include travel expenses to and from the event location from your home and accommodation.
