Over the course of eight weeks, we explored print as an artistic medium with local artist Angelina Foster, as well as delving into the life of Ernest Shackleton and his connection with Kilkea. This partnership was made possible thanks to the Kildare County Council Arts in Education Residency Bursary Award.

Print can take many forms, and we learned about some of them:

• Eco-printing (and made ink, because it's a similar process)

• Gravestone Rubbing

• Drypoint

• Letterpress
