Presently, I am in the Position of Professor, (School of Computer Engineering) and Former Programme Head, (Database Engineering and Data Analytics) at KIIT (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, India.

After completing my Ph.D from IIT, Kharagpur (1987), I joined BITS, PILANI. There I was associated with computer science teaching, production of course material, other administrative work & involved in many different development committees.

Then, I joined BIT, MESRA (Ranchi) as Asst. Professor, Dept. of Computer Science and in very short span of time was promoted to as Professor. During this period besides looking after the work of the Department & Computer Center , I have organized different computer programs for faculty members of many institutes, many Government organizations , seminars, conferences and handled many government funded major- projects as Principal & Co-Principal investigators . I also looked after BIT off-site campuses in India.

Earlier from Jan 2005, I was the Director at BBD Group of Educational Institutions, Lucknow. There I was the Director (Engineering) of Northern India Engineering College (BBDNIIT), Lucknow.
