Monmouth VEX

 Robotics Competition Team

Comprised of six individual teams of students from Monmouth Academy and Monmouth Memorial Schools, the Monmouth VEX Robotics Competition team engages young engineers in the design process.

Tournaments challenge young engineers to design, build, and program robots that perform a number of timed feats, such as lifting, launching, stacking, and flipping a variety of objects. These tasks require students to think critically, employ problem-solving strategies, and collaborate effectively.  In addition to the head-to-head competition in tourney matches, students must communicate professionally during judges’ interviews, network with other teams, and present a detailed engineering notebook for inspection.

In its sixth competitive season, the Monmouth VEX Robotics team competed in the 2023-24 VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) game, Over Under.
