By the end of school year, Kinder students demonstrate knowledge in following areas  –

• Gurmukhi - 

  • Independently present (Akhar Show and Tell): 

• Bring and item(s) of their choice

• Share the  Punjabi Letter their item begins with

• Share Punjabi color of item

• Share 1-2 interesting facts about an item in Punjabi (simple 4-6 word sentences)

• Trace letters independently (or even start writing)

• Gurmat - 

  • Recite Mool Mantar (or more) without help

  • Know Guru names and their contribution

  • Share 3 interesting facts about Sikhi 

  • Counting from 1-10  in Punjabi

  • Demonstrate overall readiness to participate and engage in class for next level of learning
