Guru Nanak Khalsa School, San Jose
"The mission of our Khalsa School is to promote excellence in the community through Sikh values and teachings; emphasizing spirituality, truthfulness, hard work, charity and wisdom as the keys to a fulfilling life".
Students attending Guru Nanak Khalsa School ("GNKS") and our affiliated schools are instilled with a love for the Sikh religion, its beliefs, values, and customs. This is accomplished by teaching the written and spoken Punjabi language and the Gurmukhi script. By graduation, students can read and understand the Sikh scriptures and the Sri Guru Granth Sahib and converse in Punjabi. This will be further supplemented with teachings of Sikh History and enhanced by Kirtan classes. The years they spend in GNKS result in preparing them to be bilingual, multicultural and global citizens.
We are in session most Sundays from 1p.m.-5:45 p.m.
Additional training and activities may take place between 12-1.
