What do before the Learning Review
In order to make the appointment as valuable as possible for all involved, it is worth doing some preparation before.
Discuss with your child how they believe they are progressing.
What do they enjoy?
Which subjects do they find more challenging?
What are they proud of this year?
Do they know how to improve in each of the subjects?
Look at the summary report published last week, review the topics covered and the level of performance recorded.
Does this match your child's perception?
Does it suggest areas of strength or targets for development?
Watch the subject summary videos as this should make clear
How the course is structured

What is still to come
General points on how you can support your child
Write down any questions you have for the teacher and make these questions the focus of discussion.
Above all, make sure your child also attends the appointment to be integral to all the discussions and to see you working collectively with the school to support them in their learning.
