One of our main targets is to provide the underprivileged children in Hong Kong with opportunity to a quality education as well. By offering them both chinese and english books - they will have the chance to enhance their current chinese speaking skills, while also building up skills in english.
1 in 7 people in HK live under poverty, and 1 in 5 children in HK are a victim of this. They are unable to afford necessities, let alone toys and books. It will foster an opportunity to provide them with quality education and contented childhood memories.
Most toys, books, and stationery are disposable, primarily composed of synthetic plastic, which takes a long time to decompose in landfill sites. By redistributing these items, we can alleviate pressure on our landfill systems and at the same time decreasing demand for unsustainable plastic production, thereby promoting environmental sustainability.
