Who is Eligible to Join the KGHS Chapter of NHS?

Requirements for Membership in National Honor Society:

10th graders (w/ 3 semesters of high school course work), 11th graders, and 12th graders with a 3.75 GPA are encourage to apply.

While students may meet the requirement for scholarship, students must also demonstrate the following qualities:

• Leadership (via appointed positions or informally exhibiting leadership qualities)

• Service (our organization is dedicated to volunteer work; applicants should have prior history of volunteerism or a strong desire to get involved)

• Character (students should not have any major disciplinary infractions; please submit statement explaining any past referrals)

Eligible students may submit application for the 2021-2022 school year by October 8, 2021 no later than 5PM.
