Academic Enrichment

The reading program provides instruction in all aspects of language arts, including reading, writing, and speaking. A variety of text and the Achieve 3000 program will support development of mature vocabulary and comprehension of literature at the middle school level. This course is designed to meet the individual needs of students who want extra help in reading. Students are taught specific strategies to improve their reading skills, and are provided with many opportunities for guided and independent practice of skills.
