Scheduling

Dear KHS Families,

Within the coming weeks, we will begin the course selection process for the 2024-2025 school year. Ms. Atkinson and Mr. Gallion (counselors from the high school) will visit classes to present important and updated information to students from January 29th to February 9th. A more detailed schedule can be found in Mr. Kohler’s most recent newsletter and on the Counseling Department website. Both high school counselors will individually assist each student with putting in their schedule requests at the beginning of February. Each student will be encouraged to have a conversation with their parents about these requests before requests are locked for all high school students on February 15th.

On February 1st, we will hold our CCP Information Night at 6:00, immediately after our 8th Grade Parent Night at 5:00 in the KHS Cafetorium. We will also hold a New Course Showcase that evening to provide you a closer look at all of the amazing opportunities the high school has to offer and that will be new next school year. 

We encourage all current and prospective KHS students and families to join us on February 1st! If you have any questions about the course selection process, please do not hesitate to contact one of the counselors.
