Wondering What Sixth Form Will be Like?

Feeling a mixture of excited/anxious/nervous? You’re not alone and that’s completely normal! Stepping into anything new can bring up a whole range of emotions for anyone.


At King Edward's we provide all kinds of support for students - from academic support, to health, well being and emotional support too.  In Bridging Week, why not take time to check out The Den - our bespoke well being and Spirituality space in the Advanced Study Centre where one to one sessions and workshops take place, and where there’s a range of information on offer to help with the many things life can throw at us. 


During Bridging week itself there will be support staff on hand to meet with if things feel a bit overwhelming - they’d love to meet you and chat with you and help you navigate this next step of your journey. Just get in touch with our mentors & chaplain at the addresses below:

Dress Code

In Sixth Form we adopt a plain dress code that is inclusive and inkeeping with the school colours. Students should wear:

Chromebook 

Students are encouraged to have their own personal device (not mobile phone). Once the agree and sign the Acceptable Use Policy they will be connected to the school wifi to support independent working and organisation.

A personal Chromebook would be an asset to organising your studies with instant access to email, classroom and the full G-suite of apps. There are interest free, monthly replayment deals at a number of retailers.
