After School Meetings:
We aim to hold all meetings in person from 3:45- 4:45. However, we will switch to a Zoom format, if needed. We are planning one meeting a month, but due to the uncertainty of this year the dates are subject to change. We have set up a Google Classroom for Muse that contains up-to-date information. Our next meeting is Tuesday, Dec 14 from 3:45-4:45 in room 218. Please join our Google Classroom with code jqmvsjr

Our three shows this year are: We will be combining with FHS this year. To be able to attend, you must have a completed permission Form (from a parent email address) 2 days PRIOR to show time.
Tangled Up In You: by Steve White (of Blue Man Group fame) and Wunmi - inspired by Autism, Tangled Up In You asks you to turn inward, do the "voices" in your mind help or hurt you? This show teaches social acceptance and how to be kind to yourself. The message is coupled with positive energy, fantastic percussion, and inspiring African dance. A Hard Day's 12th Night: by the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company - a modern take on a Shakespeare classic. Modern music and props accompany classic Shakespeare language. You may even get the chance to participate in a Shakespeare insult challenge! Showing: CANCELLED
Now You See It: by David Sherman - a multimedia experience. David shows how your mind can be fooled by optical illusions and special efffects. Showing: Thursday, Feb 3 at 1:20 at KMS Auditorium (live streamed from HS)
DCDC: The Harlem Renaissance: a cultural explosion of poetry and prose, visual art, jazz, theatre and dance. The Harlem Renaissance gave rise to African American artists like Langston Hughes, one of the earliest innovators of jazz poetry; musicians such as Duke Ellington; and modern artists including Jacob Lawrence. Out-of-School Performances (optional & additional cost) UPDATED 11/30:
Tickets can be paid by cash or check made out to Kettering Middle School. Please include your student's name and title of show(s) when sending in money. Money can be dropped off in your student's unit office.
We reserve a limited number of tickets to each show, the are first paid, first served. If you really want to attend a show, get your payment and permission slip in early. Shows may be purchased at any time.
