SPACING REHEARSAL

Date: Thursday, October 8th

Time: 3:30-6:30 (See detailed scheduled below – each class has a specific time slot)

Location: Ted Ferry Civic Center

Important info: This is NOT a dress rehearsal. Please bring normal dance clothes. The only

dancers that will have class/rehearsal at KTB this day are Ballet II, Ballet III, Ballet III advanced

and Company for company rehearsal as called. Ballet III will be joining Ballet III Advanced at

3:15-4:30. All other classes will be canceled.

3:30-4:00 – Jazz 5/6 Warm up

4:00-4:15 – Jazz 6

4:15-4:30 – Jazz 5

4:30-4:45 – Jazz 4

4:45-5:00 – Advanced tap

5:00-5:15 – Tap Duet

5:15-5:30 – Kim's piece

5:30-5:45 – Katie's piece

5:45-6:00 – Grace’s Piece

6:00-6:15 – Jazz 2

6:15-6:30 – Jazz 3

PERFORMANCE DAY

Date: Friday, October 9th

Arrival time: 4:15 for jazz dancers and 4:45 for tap dancers (that aren’t in jazz)

Location: Ted Ferry Civic Center

Important info: Some snacks will be provided backstage. Dancers should also plan to pack

food/snacks that will not stain their costumes. Makeup is optional unless otherwise instructed

by your teacher. Dancers will be backstage for a VERY long time, please have them bring some

sort of entertainment. If you choose to send your dancer with a device, KTB is not responsible

for keeping tabs on it. Please remember to bring a water bottle so we can keep dancers out of

the hallway. Due to this event having alcohol, dancers will not be allowed anywhere other than

the back conference room and the restrooms once the event begins. The only exception to the

rule is if choreography calls for dancers exiting through the audience or interacting with the

audience during their piece.

DETAILED SCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY:

4:15-5:00 – Warm-up for all jazz dancers (please wear normal dancewear)

4:45 – All tappers (that aren’t in jazz) arrive

5:00-5:15 – Curtain Call with everyone

5:15-6:30 – hair, makeup, costumes, tap warm-up and eat some food (not in costume)!

6:45 – Approximate start time for performance

Stuff to bring – jazz shoes, monochrome outfit (same color top and bottoms)

Jazz 4: Funky Fungi

Stuff to bring – black sorts nude leo

Hair– middle part slicked back ponytail (middle of head)

Makeup– simple stage makeup red lip

Jazz 5: Fireflies
