"Its been a huge part of my life with my self esteem, used to break down and cry really easily, i didn't think before i spoke and i was just so self conscious about myself, and now i only cry for the real things, I’m WAY better at handling my emotions and i care less about what others think."

Why do you do Theatre? Why is Theatre important to you?
"I do Theatre because I enjoy the art of it, I love that I can be apart of different productions with different stories with the people I love and respect. Theatre is important to me because it allows me to be in touch with my creative side and help me learn skills that I can use in future jobs. Theatre is important to Golden Valley because it creates an atmosphere where people are allowed to join from any walks of life and be apart of a family where they feel loved and accepted."

Why do you do Theatre?
"Theater gives me somthing to work towards that actually feels like it pays off. As much as people say I “should” feel accomplished with my academics and find happiness through high test scores and pure merit that just doesn’t work for some people. I could have straight As and only feel relief I can relax but theater feels like I did something."

Why do you do Theatre?
"I’ve continued to do theatre for 3 years because I love the atmosphere. The people here are understanding, they care, and they appreciate you. Theatre is important here at Golden Valley because it gives people the opportunity to express themselves through hard work and creativity."

"Speaking in public working together problem solving learning to be independent. I can speak out in class when asked and i can talk to others."
