A Message To Freshman

A message our ITA Seniors would like to tell themselves when they were freshmen, and to the freshman as they come into the Informational Technology Academy.

I wish I would have joined the Academy. My friends are always talking about their history teacher, and how interesting her class is. The projects they create and the trips they get to take sound fun. Biggest regret I have in High School, TBH.

I knew a little bit of what I was getting into. But if you told me that I would come across great classmates, outstanding teachers, and just a positive environment overall I wouldn't have bought that. ITA was the best decision of my freshman year. Never will I regret joining this team.

"ITA was a bit overwhelming at first, due to the idea of being surrounded by the same people throughout high school. This might lead one to assume you need to be more outgoing or likable, but not once did I feel a need to change. It was troublesome at times, but my admiration towards the teachers and their supportiveness towards each student kept me from leaving. The ITA staff have all taught me valuable life lessons other than education. ITA has altered my view on life for the better."
