One of the key focuses of our work has been to leverage the 2023 California Mathematics Framework and bring its instructional approach to life in classrooms. Central to this effort are the vignettes embedded within the framework, which serve as powerful tools for illustrating how to build the big ideas of mathematics across grade levels.
These extended examples take a deeper dive, showcasing comprehensive classroom scenarios that are referenced within the framework chapters. Each vignette is linked to the appendix, providing educators with a more detailed exploration of how to effectively implement the framework’s instructional vision.
