The library provided cookies and cocoa to celebrate National Library Week (during National Library Month). All students and staff were welcome to stop in and get a sweet treat to start off their day!
Cedar Rapids based author Carol Gorman (above) met with senior high, George Washington, and middle school students today. She encouraged all levels of students to learn the basics of writing, become fervent readers, and use their own personal experiences to inspire their own writing. Gorman was a great motivator for our KCSD student authors!
