PLANT BIOLOGY LAB

Welcome to the Plant Biology Laboratory at Kenyon College!

In the Regmi lab, research and teaching go hand-in-hand, and in fact, reinforce each other. I incorporate hypothesis-driven, publication-oriented research in the Experimental Plant Physiology and Experimental Molecular Plant Pathology classes I teach and encourage students to actively participate in my research program outside of the class as well. It is my belief that plants hold the key to sustainable solutions for tackling grave global problems like climate change and feeding the growing human population.

If you are passionate about plants, you might find exploring the "Educational Resources" tab worth your while. Under the category of "Visual Atlas of Plants", I have archived and organized my library of light and electron micrographs of plants in an easily accessible e-book format to advance the public understanding of science in general, and plants in particular. This free resource will be constantly undergoing refinements and updates. If you would like to contribute to writing this e-book, please feel free to contact me.

If you would like to collaborate with me in my research projects or would like to discuss your original ideas, please visit me at my office at Higley 202 or my laboratory at Higley Hall 007.
