Join us for an interactive professional development session where we will dive into various components of Classroom Tech 2.0. Participants will have hands-on experience with PC interactivity and annotation tools, Visualizer document camera software, wireless presentation and more. Following exploration, we will implement the jigsaw protocol, allowing each participant to become an expert on a particular feature and share their knowledge with colleagues in small groups. This session aims to empower teachers to integrate technology effectively into their classrooms, fostering engaging and dynamic learning environments. In this two part hands-on workshop, teachers will explore and share ways Google Workspace tools can help streamline lesson planning, promote collaboration and create dynamic learning experiences. Participants attend both Session 1 and Session 2.

In this session, participants will learn how to connect student Chromebooks wirelessly to the projector. This allows students to share materials with a larger group efficiently. This session will be helpful for any staff member that has access to Classroom Tech 2.0 and would like to learn about wireless presentation from the student perspective.

Designed for beginners, this workshop explores Canva's fundamentals, including design basics, customization options, and template utilization. Participants will learn to create visually appealing presentations, educational materials, and collaborative projects to enhance student engagement. Practical strategies for integrating Canva into lesson planning and assignments will be shared. By the end, participants will have the skills and confidence to leverage Canva's versatility in their teaching practice, empowering them to create impactful and visually compelling educational content. Note : This is a two-part PD. Participants must have attended Part 1 on February 12th.
In Session 2, participants will come together to reflect on implementation of Classroom Tech 2.0. Teachers will share their experiences and challenges encountered while applying new techniques or approaches in their classrooms. Through open discussion and collaborative problem-solving, participants will explore effective solutions to common problems of practice. This session provides a valuable opportunity for teachers to learn from each other's experiences, gain insights into successful implementation strategies, and troubleshoot challenges collectively. Join us for a dynamic session focused on reflection, collaboration, and continuous improvement in teaching practice.
