College Credit Plus: College Credit Plus is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families. CCP and all alternative dual enrollment programs previously governed by Ohio Revised Code Chapter 3365. Coursework becomes a permanent record on the student's transcript, as well as the high school transcript.
A student is eligible for the College Credit Plus program if the student meets any of the following criteria:
Obtains a remediation-free score on one of the standard assessment exams
Has a cumulative unweighted high school grade point average of at least 3.00
Has a cumulative unweighted high school grade point average of at least 2.75 but less than 3.00 and received an "A" or "B" grade in a relevant high school course
January 23, 2025 at 7pm — Attend an information session in the TRHS Auditorium
April 1, 2025 deadline — Turn in your Intent to Participate Form
January-May 1 — Take the test, if needed, to determine eligibility and apply to the intended college
Varies based on college — Enroll in your CCP classes and attend college orientation
