The Young Scholars Academy is a highly selective partnership between the Northern Kentucky University and Scott High School. Students are selected to take a full-time college course load on NKU’s campus for their final two years of high school. Students will spend the academic day between 7:30 AM to 2 PM on NKU's campus. Scholars have the opportunity to earn up to 60 hours of college credit and can choose to pursue an associate’s degree while working with a small cohort of motivated, like-minded scholars working toward degrees with a focus in disciplines such as STEM, integrative studies, education, supply chain, and computer science.
