In 2022, Dixie Heights High School decided that with over 85 years of graduates who have shown excellence in their chosen path, we wanted to develop a way to honor our legacy of exceptional alumni. The Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame was born that year, and pays tribute to those Dixie Heights alumni who have distinguished themselves and their alma mater through their contributions in arts, sciences, business, engineering, politics, healthcare, and more.
The original selection of inductees, chosen in 2022, included 5 extraordinary graduates and one distinguished educator. Since then, we've inducted more than 20 alumni and educators into this elite group, and look forward to the opportunity to recognize more each year at our Distinguished Alumni Celebration.
If you want to nominate someone to be recognized as a Distinguished Alumni or Distinguished Educator, we are always accepting nominations of alumni and educators to recognize in an upcoming Distinguished Alumni Celebration.
Criteria for Nomination
1. Graduate of Dixie Heights HS. (Graduating class prior to 2010)
2. Excellence in one or more of the following categories:
a. Outstanding accomplishments in their chosen field
b. Outstanding role model to future students
c. Service to local, state or national affairs
d. Contributions made to society, the Kenton County School District or Dixie Heights High School
3. Nominee may be Living or Deceased
1. Previously (not currently) employed at Dixie Heights High School
2. Outstanding contribution to Dixie Heights students during their tenure at Dixie Heights.
