Articulation agreements allow students to earn free college credits for certain state-approved career and technical education (CTE) courses. Articulated credit requires attending the college within a set timeframe, earning a qualifying grade (such as a B or better), and submitting an application. The credit appears without a grade on the transcript, and it likely may not transfer to another institution. KCTC seniors receive paper applications from Student Support Services for the school/s they plan to attend, or follow a digital process. This College Credit Agreements spreadsheet summarizes all agreements and contains links to all agreements and their applications.
Direct credit is graded on the college transcript and likely may transfer to another institution. Some KCTC courses offer free, direct college credit where students are dual-enrolled with the college/university. Also see Launch U Early Middle College.
