The fist four courses (12 hours) of the minor consist of two required HDF course and two courses selected by the student from a list of electives. Elective courses are available in HDF, COMM, PACS, PH, PSYC, RPTM, and SOC. Your academic advisor will be able to provide a full list of approved electives. Students live in Florence, Italy for a month during the summer while taking two HDF courses as part of the Kent State Florence Summer Institute. These courses meet Monday through Thursday for four weeks.
