Career Explorations

Career Exploration is designed for students who have intellectual abilities which prevent them from obtaining meaningful progress in a general education curriculum. Career Exploration meets the needs of students whose social/behavioral skills are developmentally delayed. The primary goal of this class is to develop each student's cognitive, social, motor, behavioral, and vocational potential to increase independent functioning.

This class offers a curriculum focused on content and skill acquisition in the context of daily life. A functional replacement curriculum is based on instruction for the current and future needs of the student.
