Family Online Learning Helps

Your student's Google Username/Password  is the same as the Skyward Student Access Login.  Students will need to add @kelso.wednet.edu to the Skyward Username (Chromebooks fill this part in for you. ) If you need to know your child's Google or Skyward login, please contact your child's teacher.  Students can access Google Drive, Google Classroom, grade 6-12  Gmail accounts and more.

Are you struggling with having multiple Google accounts on the same computer? Creating multiple profiles in Chrome can help. This video explains how.

Many teachers will be using Google Classroom to share content and manage assignments. If you'd like to learn more about Google Classroom and help your child navigate it from home, check out Common Sense Media's Ultimate Guide to Google Classroom.

Clever is an online portal that allows students to access multiple sites with just one login.  Click on the link above to access the Clever Portal and click on the "Login with Clever" option to login with the student's full Google username/password.  iReady,  Amplify Science, Renplace, Discovery Learning and more resources are available through Clever. Some logins are integrated through Clever, while others use the Clever Extension to remember passwords once they are entered one time. If you login to a Chromebook or your  Chrome Browser with a school Google account, the Clever extension will install automatically.  You can also click on this link to install it. Several curriculum resources are available through Clever.  In addition to Math curriculum, like iReady, students can also access Discovery Education which contains videos and other learning resources.

Videoconferencing

Our teachers may need to videoconference with students in order to better support instruction. We use 2 tools depending on teacher preference:

Zoom: Chromebooks have an app that will be used to access classroom Zooms. Security measure, such as waiting rooms and screening participants, are put into place for safety. Here is a great Zoom Guide for Parents.

Google Meet: The Google Meet link will often be displayed in the Teacher's Google  Classroom. These Meet links are inherently secure because  only members of that Classroom have access to the link. This Video gives a brief tutorial on using Google Meet.

Our Elementary students will be using Edgenuity. To Login Click Here. (Contact your child's teacher for login information.)

🆕Edgenuity Help Center: This site includes videos in English and Spanish along with PDFs of common questions and general information about helping students be successful with virtual learning.

🆕Edgenuity Tech Support: When Technical issues arise, Parents/Guardians can submit a ticket through the Help Center to receive assistance.

On Chromebooks or Chrome browsers that are logged into a district Google account , these pages can be reached by clicking on the "Home" icon next to the address bar. You can also use the links below or those in the menu of the school websites.
