FBLA is a great club for any student. Even if you do not go specifically into the larger world of business, many of the lessons taught by FBLA are essential. It also looks great on resumes and college applications!
By paying dues at the beginning of the year, you are enrolled in the club until the next school year. Every year you will have to renew your membership.
Thomas W. Kelly FBLA or Thomas W. Kelly High School (FBLA on Memo Line).
Besides being a great representative of the club, we do require the selling of one full candy bar box. This usually takes place in the middle of second semester and is like our fundraiser. The entire box must be sold and the complete value must be returned, no exceptions! Dues are taken at the beginning of the year, and are usually $25 to $30.
Districts is our version of a competition. There are many different types of events to compete in, like competitive tests, performance events, both of the prior combined, and some even require the making of materials like Graphic Design. Competition begins with competitive tests and materials that must be submitted before the beginning of Christmas Break. February is when performative events and event sections take place on the day of Districts. This is also when awards are given at the end of the day. Sign-ups are usually posted in the beginning of November.
PBL is the college version of FBLA. Many universities and colleges offer it to their students.
