Learning/Activity Topics: We are all in our Book Clubs! This week we will continue reading and responding to our book club books. Throughout the unit we will have mini lessons over a variety of focused skills and using them within our book club books. On Tuesday, 6th grade will take the Quarter 1 District Assessment.
All students need to make sure their computers are charged each day; we have seen a lot of problems with computers not being charged and students not having their chargers with them.
Please make sure your student has headphones in their backpacks!

This is my 7th year at TMS and my 23rd year teaching. I absolutely LOVE teaching reading and writing, AND 6th graders are my favorite. 💜 There's nothing better than discussing an awesome book with someone who is just as excited about it. Get ready to do some reading and writing!

Hi, I'm Ms. Gage! I'm so excited to be co-teaching with Mrs. Gomez this year as the Special Education teacher. I have a deep love for reading and writing, and I can’t wait to share that passion with our students. One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching each child grow—academically, socially, and emotionally—throughout the school year. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year full of learning, discovery, and meaningful connections with our amazing students!
