Symphonic Band

Andalucia was named after a community in Spain. Andalucia has always been a very musical land. The unique music and exotic dances have inspired composers throughout history. The tradition continues with this inspired work, flavored by the colorful blended sounds of the flamenco traditional march styles. We hope you enjoy this energetic piece!

Serengeti Dreams was inspired by the Serengeti National Park, a wildlife refuge in northern Tanzania, East Africa. The beginning is majestic, depicting the hills and grassland ranges. This section is followed by musical representations of many exotic animal species found in the park. A variety of interesting sounds in the wind and percussion sections culminate in a spectacular conclusion. We hope you enjoy Serengeti Dreams. 

Summit Fanfare begins with a bold melodic statement supported by rich harmonies and stately percussion. The music progresses through various moods ranging from gentle to triumphant. A rhythmic dance section in the middle precedes the bold theme returning to conclude with a dramatic finish. Please enjoy Symphonic Band’s performance of Summit Fanfare.
