The library has a wonderful collection of books for our community to share. We ask that you care for the books, and remember that many other people will enjoy the book after you.
Please take extra care when eating or drinking around library books. Sticky books are super yucky.
Water is kryptonite to a book. If you have a water spill, please be sure to let me know when you return your book.
Please be especially mindful with our books around young children. They might not be ready to take good care of them yet.
Handle books gently. Turn the pages with care. Do not write, draw, or color in our books.
Keep library books away from pets.
Take extra care to remember to bring our books home if you choose bring them with you on a trip or to another home.
One helpful routine is to keep library books in your backpack when you are not reading them.
Thank you for treating our books with care, but know that I know that even when we are very careful, mistake happen. This is an elementary school library. Our patrons are, on the whole, young children learning about responsibility.
