Fossil Ridge Football Operations is a student-focused and student-led program which teaches students the in's and out's of running a high school level athletic organization from behind the scenes.
Student's are mentored by the Director of Football Operations in preparing them to function in an often hectic athletic program environment. Students learn skills such as organization, time management, responsibility, accountability, conflict management, collaboration, task completion, and much more!
Operations staff members play a key role in the success of the football program while being asked to evaluate their responsibilities and tasks to find ways to be more efficient and effective in their roles and in the overall operations of the Fossil Ridge Football program.
Operations staff members are tasked with roles and responsibilities and asked to complete their tasks with little to no supervision while remaining flexible to the requirements of coaches, players, and other football program support staff. Staff members are expected to complete their tasks on time and to standard, conduct themselves in a manner that best represents themselves and the entire football program, and to assist or train other OPS staff members to meet the high standards set by the OPS staff.
Members of the Fossil Ridge Football Operations Staff are highly sought after and recruited to assist in the operations of other sports programs at Fossil Ridge.
OPS Staff members EARN their Varsity Letter and Jacket after completing their first full football season.
