About Us

Mrs. Bailey

I am originally from New York and moved to Texas when I was 8 years old, so Texas has my heart :) I graduated from Texas Woman’s University and received my Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in English as a Second Language.  You will normally find me laughing or reading a good book.

Fourth grade is such a fun year with so many wonderful learning activities to celebrate. In order to have a fun year, my most important goal is to create a family of learners in my classroom. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is a valued, trusted, and integral part of our family of learners. In order to accomplish this, I have planned a variety of activities to emphasize and reinforce this goal. It is my hope that you will support and encourage this vision at home.

Mrs. Blevins

Hello!  My name is Telisa Blevins. This will be my 7th year teaching.  I currently live in North Fort Worth with my husband, and our two children.  Our son, Nicholas, just completed his sophomore year of college at DePaul University in Chicago!   Our daughter, Jazmin, is 16 and is going to the 11th grade this year. We also have a yorkie named Brody. You will hear tons of silly stories. about them.

I attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, which is also my hometown.  I received my bachelor’s in business management while there.  Letourneau University is where I received my teaching certificate.

I love to teach math and help students understand how important it is to our everyday lives.  Fourth grade math can be challenging but I know with a growth mindset and hard work, you will do great.  We will have fun and learn how to work together  to become better problem solvers!
