Advanced Academics Advisory Committee

This committee will study and review current advanced academic services and make recommendations for strengthening these services in K-12 to ensure students are able to achieve their full potential in connection with the Keller ISD Core Values. Advanced Academics areas of interest are, but not limited to, Gifted and Talented, Acceleration, AP & PAP classes, Dual Credit, academic clubs, and support of our students while they reach for their collegiate level opportunities and advanced academics recognition like National Merit Scholarships.

The Advanced Academic Programs Advisory Committee will consists of members representing students, parents, teachers, and school administration. This committee will meet at least four times a year. Each year, we look for interested members to join us to share their voice and help to lead change in our district.

Our scheduled meetings for the spring semester will be held from 5 - 6:30 on Thursdays: Dates to be determined. We meet in the Board Room at the KISD Administration Building.
