Welcome To Mini Team!

A fun and exciting experience for dancers entering 1st and 2nd grade.

Performance Plus

Offering a greater range of performance experience than our regular classes, Mini Team is an exciting challenge geared toward skill development.

Weekly attendance is critical for development and creation of choreography.  Please do not enroll unless you can make it a family priority.

Class Requirements

Mini Team dancers are required to enroll in a ballet/tap combo class in addition to their Mini Team class.  Foundational training is crucial to developing skills for competitive performance.

We also recommend:  Acro, Musical Theater, and Hip Hop

  • September 11-14 Crew Begins

 (Make up date November 21)

WHAT TO WEAR

Dancers are expected to wear proper dance clothing. This means leotards and tights or fitted top and athletic pants/leggings

We sell black and tan jazz shoes. Tan jazz shoes are typically worn for competition.  Please purchase them from Kehl so you have the proper style.

Hair should be tidy and in place to avoid distraction in class.  A ballet bun is best for longer hair.

Warm-ups, Costumes, Make-up and more...

Special Team warm-ups (and backpacks) are made available for purchase only at the beginning of the season - ordering info TBA.

A costume for Mini-team is included in your team fee and will arrive a month or 2 before performances begin.

Dancers are expected to wear stage-makeup and earrings at competition.  More information is available later in the season.
