My philosophy is that our class is a class family. This means that we will treat each other as if we were family.

During the first few days of school we will create a social contract. Together we will brainstorm applicable rules we agree to abide by. I, along with each student, will sign the social contract and the contracts will be displayed in our class for the length of the school year.

All students and myself will be upheld to our social contract as they can take ownership of the rules established in our class. Please feel free to ask your student about our social contract because I feel that they will be really excited about this new concept & we will refer to the contract often.
