The 17-18 season will mark my 2nd year as the head girls basketball coach here at Keene. I've been married for 12 years to my wife (Jessica) and we have two kids, Brynleigh(9) and Bryson(5). After growing up and graduating from Godley in '02, I attended Texas Tech University majoring in Exercise and Sports Sciences. While there I served as a practice player for the Lady Raider basketball team led by hall of fame coach, Marsha Sharp. Following college I spent 1 season as the women's assistant coach at South Plains College, 3 years at Keene as the boy's assistant basketball coach, 6 years at Blum where I coached the boy's team for 5 seasons and the girl's for 2 (coached both teams 1 season), before making my way back to Keene as the head girl's basketball coach. Other duties at Keene include: Girl's Athletic Coordinator, Assistant Volleyball and Assistant Track.

The 17-18 season will mark my 3rd year as the assistant girls basketball coach here at Keene. I've been married for 2 years to my husband (Rico) and we have two kids, Jayden(11) and Jaylee(5). I graduated from Conroe High School in 2006. In 2011, I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management and a Masters of Science degree in kinesiology (2013) with an emphasis in coaching from Texas Women’s University. In 2015, I completed the teacher’s certification program, now I am certified to teach Physical Education and Health. I love working with student’s athletes because I enjoy having an impact on their lives. My passion is to work with students and young adults as a tutor/basketball coach. I have over five years of experience working with students in the YMCA afterschool program, one year in charter school, and three years in public school. Outside of basketball, I love spending time with family and friends. I am a huge sports fan and really appreciates the opportunity to be a part of sports. My motto as a teacher and coach has always been to work hard, get better, and have fun! Other duties at Keene include: Assistant Volleyball and Assistant Track.

The 2017-2018 marks my fifth year as an assistant basketball coach at Keene. I started my coaching career as the junior high coach and moved up to the high school as the Head Volleyball and Assistant Basketball coach at the high school. I am a Keene native and Keene High School alumnus. I have a son, Daiden (9), who also attends Keene Elementary. Our love for Keene ISD runs deep. I graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with a Bachelors of Science in Education and later received my Master's of Education with a concentration in Educational Administration at Concordia University in Austin. When I'm not at work, I love to spend time with my beautiful puppy Nala and play volleyball in various city leagues. I am an avid believer that Netflix rejuvenates the soul and I maximize my down time as much as possible. I'm looking forward to an awesome school year!
