About 7th Grade Science

Seventh grade science is focused on Earth Science and Astronomy. Our course is currently organized into six main units:

1. Weather and Climate

2. Earth's Systems

3. Plate Tectonics

4. Earth's History

5. Minerals and Rocks

6. Astronomy

Students will also work on a Science Fair project, starting around early-January and running until around mid-May.

We strive as much as possible to have science be a "hands-on" activity. Coursework will include lab activities, activities designed by the teachers, and work in more "traditional" textbooks and workbooks.
