Dear Families,
Welcome back to another exciting school year! We are all looking forward to reconnecting with you, your student(s), and your family.
The start of a new school year can bring a mix of excitement and challenges as everyone settles back into school routines and adjusts to leaving summer behind. Please know that we are here to support you and your family. If there is anything we can do to help make this transition into September a little smoother, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We are looking forward to a wonderful school year together!
Yours truly,
Jenn, Stephaine, and Terri-Jean
Our school community is proud to introduce Growing Together: Caregiver Series, an initiative designed to support and connect local families. This program provides caregivers with valuable resources, practical strategies, and guidance on topics such as child development, communication, and overall well-being. Through accessible sessions and shared learning opportunities, Growing Together aims to strengthen family relationships and build a supportive, informed community where everyone can thrive.
Your feedback will guide the topics, format, and support offered for future series.
National Back-to-School Month has been recognized since the 1960s as a seasonal marker for the shift from summer to the academic year.
The traditional academic calendar has its roots in the agricultural past. As the United States became increasingly urban and industrialized, the calendar remained largely unchanged, and the late-summer return to school became part of the familiar rhythm that many families continue to follow today.
National Back to School Month - preparing parents, teachers, schools, and students for a season of education.
The return to school is one of the largest seasonal events in the household calendar.

September 11th honors the memory of the nearly 3,000 innocent victims who died in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Every year since that day, the United States comes together to remember the fallen. We remember the first responders and those who made difficult decisions.
Attendance Awareness Month
From as early as preschool and kindergarten, consistent school attendance plays an important role in helping students develop the academic and social skills they need to succeed.
When students attend school regularly, they build on their previous learning and create a strong network of friends.
