What is Caring School Community?
A comprehensive program that provides year-long, schoolwide support to:
Build caring relationships among students and adults
Directly teach social skills that students need in school and in life
Use classroom management strategies that create calm, productive learning environments
Implement student-centered discipline that teaches students self-management and self-discipline

Our school counselors and staff at their schools have determined that there are topics that need a bit more attention than CSC provides. So each school counselor will provide whole classroom lessons that are supplemental, throughout the school year. Some students may be identified as needing more individualized or small group supplemental lessons.
